Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented WordPress Web Developer to join our digital team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining visually stunning and high-performing websites using WordPress. You will work closely with designers, marketers, and content teams to bring brand experiences to life through seamless web functionality and user-friendly interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage responsive WordPress websites from scratch or using themes and builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery).

  • Customize themes, plugins, and functionality based on project requirements.

  • Ensure website speed, performance, SEO optimization, and cross-browser compatibility.

  • Collaborate with designers to translate visual mockups into functioning websites.

  • Maintain and update websites, fix bugs, and troubleshoot technical issues.

  • Implement integrations such as payment gateways, contact forms, third-party APIs, etc.

  • Stay up to date with the latest web technologies, trends, and WordPress updates.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 2+ years of experience in WordPress website development.

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.

  • Experience with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Divi.

  • Understanding of SEO best practices, website speed optimization, and mobile responsiveness.

  • Familiarity with cPanel, hosting platforms, and domain management.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, Shopify is a plus).

  • Knowledge of tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Photoshop for design collaboration.

  • Basic knowledge of security protocols and site backup management.

  • Experience in developing multilingual websites or membership portals.
