Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented and visually driven Cinematographer to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for composition, lighting, and movement, and will be responsible for capturing visually compelling footage that aligns with brand storytelling and campaign goals. You will work closely with directors, editors, and clients to bring creative visions to life across various formats — from ads and reels to documentaries and branded films.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate professional cameras, lenses, and lighting setups for a variety of shoots.
- Plan and execute visual compositions that support narrative and brand tone.
- Collaborate with directors and creative teams to interpret scripts and storyboards into dynamic visuals.
- Scout locations, set up equipment, and manage on-set lighting and camera setups.
- Maintain technical quality in framing, exposure, color, and camera movements.
- Capture both live-action and product-based footage for digital and social platforms.
- Assist in managing camera gear and maintaining equipment inventory.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Visual Arts, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience as a cinematographer or DOP (agency or freelance).
- Proficiency in operating DSLRs, mirrorless, and cinema cameras (Sony, Canon, Blackmagic, etc.).
- Strong understanding of lighting setups, composition, and framing techniques.
- Experience working with gimbals, sliders, and video rigs.
- Familiarity with video formats, frame rates, color grading basics, and LUTs.
- Strong visual storytelling skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in commercial shoots, brand films, and real estate walkthroughs.
- Knowledge of drone operation and basic aerial cinematography (license a plus).
- Ability to shoot both natural and stylized lighting environments.
- Basic knowledge of video editing and post-production workflow is a bonus.
